Subject: ESI cause of Flu Symptoms?

I've had two cervical spinal steriod injections for herniated discs causing stenosis. The stenosis is both spinal and foraminal. The injections seem to have helped my symptoms of numbness and weakness in my arm and legs.
I'm scheduled for the third and last one tomorrow, but I've developed flu-like symptoms. I have a sore throat, cough, low fever headache, and sensitive skin. This has beeb going on for about 4 days. My last injection was two weeks ago.
Do you think the injections could be causing this?
I plan on rescheduling the next injection. Is there enough steroid used in these that I should cancel it altogether? Thanks, Pamela
