I am so sorry to hear what happened to your daughter. I am not a doctor but in the more than a decade I've been doing this I have heard of much of the symptoms you describe from a kenalog injections. Go to the photos and look at the picture of the then 16 year old that only had one kenalog injection. Read her story. If the indentations you see in your daughter looks like hers you will know. There are some symptoms that should reverse themselves in time. Go to the FAQ (frequently Asked Questions) to get more answers about that. As far as the scoliosis goes I can't say but you can't rule out the steroids may have been a contributing factor. I agree the injection or injections were not administered properly. When given too close the indentations (atrophy) occurs. When given too deep it can cause atrophy in the muscle and/or bone. The atrophy can be progressive the girl in the photo had to have cosmetic surgery to stop the atrophy. You can measure the atrophy by taking pictures and comparing size to a dime or quarter etc and keep an eye on them to check if they are getting bigger. Numbness may reverse if it is only at injection sites and not in arms or legs. I hope this info helps. If I can be of further assistance I'm only an email away.
Best wishes to you and your daughter
