I was adopted when I was 10 (8 years ago) and personaly I think this is better cause I really hate my real parents, they travel all the time and they didn't have time for a kid (me), last thing I heard is that they had another baby and are planning to settle somewhere to take care of the baby!
At home (now) we are with 6 kids, and all 6 off us are adopted, none of us has a problem with that, cause we know that we are in a better place now.
I suggest you just ask your parents about it. That way you know why your parents gae you up for adopting (if you were adopted).
But if you are adopted know this, your parents are really happy they have you and they love you very much, other wise they wouldn't have adopted you at all!
