My theory: either Harm or Mac are badly injured and the other one has to get them out. It's during this time that they realize their feelings for each other and start moving forward a bit. (inside)

DPB won't let them make passionate love up on that mountain, but I think Harm will come to realize just how much Mac cares for him (maybe he's badly injured and she gets him out and we see the passionate declarations from her to hold on, that she loves him, not to leave her. Webb didn't get that! Patty
