Subject: Goodbye

I've debated about this all summer but last night cinched it for me. Effective 15 October, the website Dress Whites and Roses will be no more. I've posted the reason why on the main page of the website. This was not an easy decision, but between my health problems over the summer and a love of the show which has been ruined, I can't do this anymore. I was just going to take the site down, but I'll leave it up for a few weeks to allow everyone to have a last look around.

I wish I could say it has been fun - well, it was in the beginning. But fun and JAG have been mutually exclusive terms for about a year now and right now, I really wish I had never continued the site after 'The Killer'. Although it had been getting bad before that, I stuck around in the vain hope that it would turn around. Not only did it not, it steadily got worse. I don't even recognize the show or it's characters any more. When the stories got boring and routine, it was my love of the characters that kept me going. But I can't love the characters I've seen on my screen in the last year. There's just no way.

Tracy, you will be missed! I can't disagree with your decision, b/c you are right. When its no longer fun or enjoyable its time to stop watching & focus on something else. Unfortunately, DB doesn't seem to give a crap about his fans (just from some of the messages posted on the lists & magazines), & while I agree that its his show, sometimes the disdain he shows to the fans is uncomprehendable.
