Subject: I disagree with the allowing Singer to give birth before her death angle. Not that I *ever* want to see a child harmed/killed, but this angle for JAG doesn't work for me. Whose going to raise Singer's kid? Harm? He's still convinced its Sergei's, & with Sergei being in Russia, well sorry, I don't want to see JAG with Harmon Rabb raising a child. I know death isn't a good option, but with the Singer mess that TPTB created, this was actually the best way (& I don't mean best as in good mind you) to end the story arc (inside)

Singer's gone, there is no baby/fetus to adopt/raise/fight over, cause I could see it becoming a long drawn out JAG process *if* Singer's child had been born. Make sense?

I'm not advocating anytype of abortion views or well its just a fetus and not a baby stuff.....just from a JAG standpoint, it was better IMHO to make a CLEAN break from the whole Singer soap crap, and the only way unfortunately to do this was by eliminating the character & her baby as well. Since TPTB *chose* to incorporate NC's pregnancy into the show (not saying that was the right move) they IMHO backed themselves into a corner by making Singer pregnant, and there really no *good* solution. Singer still could've been killed, and I agree that it would've of been better if perhaps TPTB hadn't made her character pregnant.

This is probably just rambling that doesn't make sense, and sorry for that. But out of all the options, to me it was the way to go, make a clean start from Singer.

I do agree that there was no need to see the fetus in a jar in the lab. Just like there was no need to see Singer's crow eaten face, or get the elaborate explanation as to what happened to her face. It seems to me that DB is getting into a P*****g contest with CSI and CSI Miami about who can be more "graphic" with their forensics, and for the 8PM hour, I didn't like it one bit. But I didn't like the show either, and I'm glad that next week will wrap it up and JAG will be returned to us at some point.

Jennifer, get used to the 5 minute Mac. It's been that way for the last couple of seasons now, and its even more pronounced this year due to CB's RL pregnancy. I still think there were better ways to incorporate Mac into the eps, and even if you don't have to see her, why not a phone call (prolonged one) for some interaction between our two best friends? I know CB is re-signed for S9, and I really and truly hope that DB will use Mac's character better, get her back into the forefront/limelight instead of the backburner while Sturgis, Bud, Manetti, are partnered with Harm.

I do miss our duo working together, I miss their interaction (and this is not necessarily meaning shipper I know Tracy is a shipper I'm not really one but I miss the best friends and the H&M of old).

Reading the boards and Yahoo Lists, there were a lot of people who didn't care for the ep, there were some who did, and my guess a lot of JAG fans will not be supporting NCIS.
