God, I don't want to see Harm raising Singer's baby either (not when we have the, uhem, hope of the baby promise next season), but motive-wise, I think it would have worked out better. But overall, I agree that TPTB should never have gone the route of writing NC's pregnancy in if this is the result. And although it is simply a coincidence, the real life events in California make this even more disturbing -- Dress Whites And Roses

Oh I agree with that statement, that the Peterson case really did make this ep stand out more shall we say? Its just horrible what happened to that poor woman & her baby boy, & it is a shame again that TPTB decided to go this route. It would've made no difference to me in the story arc *if* Singer hadn't of been pregnant. I mean let's face it, Singer had enough enemies IMHO on her own, you didn't need to make her pregnant, but again thats the arc DB chose (so NC could remain at JAG for a while) & I just think it would've been better if Singer hadn't of been pregnant.
