Have the flowers lost their scent?

the daffodils all bloom

are memories what meant

depicting silence in each room.

The pain still shall remain

as now deep claret stains my lips

your face appears then wanes

behind another smile that slips.

For days our hands will reach

in life to crave shall find each breath

some times are incomplete:

unto the end, consigned to death.
