Hi CJ,

I have read this a few times now and every time it seems more haunting. Excellent work. Has an immediacy to it that cannot be ignored.
An eerie trip back in time.
A flash flood of memories this piece can evoke.
Your "waiting for the silence" repeatedly in this is very effective.
And, lastly, it tells me you've always been a gifted writer :)
