Subject: MESSAGE TO THE POETS AT UNICORN

It has been wonderful seeing so many new writers grace the Unicorn's glade and the varied styles you have.

However, I have noticed of late that some have posted and not commented on any other posts. Al and I both lead very busy lives but try to give honest, but constructive criticism - varying from saying we like something to offering advice if we think something can be further improved. However, that does take a lot of our time and we also lead very busy lives.

This forum works best when it is lively and there is much interaction between the writers - not just input from Al and I - so I would be grateful if you could try to comment on two poems for every post - or, if time is of the essence, even just one.

I hope you don't think I am moaning - I love seeing you all here and really enjoy the varied poetry on offer. Unicorn has a good reputation and is read by people all over the world, including publishers. To remain successful we all need to take an active part, after all it is the poetic thing to do.

I know many of you write on other subjects - so remember there is also the short story forum and the children's form (which is for poetry and short stories for and by children).

Thank you again for your presence, which is much appreciated.
