"Well," the girl began, perhaps in a more wry manner than was characteristic, "I'm Zoe. This dork of a thoroughbred here is City Lady, perhaps more commonly known as Ella, and my other horse, Sajra, is currently lazing about in the paddocks." She flippantly threw her gilt head in an attempt to dislodge a few particularly stubborn bits of hay that hung there, like imitation butterfly clips.

"John." She grinned at this, suddenly making a guest appearance as the embodied fusion of Goldilocks and that chesire cat fellow from Alice and Wonderland. Meanwhile, as her hybrid Disney counterpart wore a rather ingratiating smile and ran its quick hands over the bald face of a nylon crosstie, Zoe's thoughts swarmed the vaults of her comparatively sensitive mind like a riotous gang. "John. That's a profound name, that is. I'm not sure if it's any worse than some of the ones I've been coming across lately...'Morning Dove Song's Heart' and 'Beauty's Betrayal' are two good examples."

[ Arg, sorry that took so long ... I kind of ran off and made a package of instant cookies. -Grin- ]
