Eventually the woman shrugged, her patience already worn thin by the few seconds wait. Oscar had made his way to her side, and so she just turned her head to greet him, wincing slightly at the trailer drove off in a cloud of dust.

The dust got onto her darling's coat.

"Damn." Her attention lost from her friend, her eyes moved to judge how much damage the beautiful coat had suffered under the dust's influence. Fortunately, almost none, as far as the overly-concerned Katcha could tell.

"Osc, could you find the owner and put our baggage somewhere out of the road? It's the only stuff we have and I don't want it runned over, you know? I'll go settle Jeispriena while you're at it." Bending to pick up one of the smaller bags, she clucked lightly at the golden mare and lead her away without awaiting the answer.

Oscar snorted, shaking his head as he reached to scratch his cheek in thought. All right then... go find the owner. Find out if they're even allowed here. Get rid of the bags. Explore. Good enough.

He put aside his mental check list in favor of resuming his search by eyes. Dang! He didn't even know the owner's name.
