Zoe, who had decided after Sajra threw his head that tugging at his mouth would be more or less useless, now sank deep into her well-oiled dressage saddle and squeezed the reins lightly. She widened her hands and formed something of a channel with her legs to keep him straight...things seemed to go wrong when he got off track.

Despite his rather lackadaisical attitude towards work, Zoe sensed that he could move. She wasn't about to chance a glance down at his legs, for that would throw them both off balance, but what about Paula? "Paula?" She called as they passed on one Sajra's revolutions of the ring, "Can he move?"
