A shadow flitted across the bricks that made the apartments as the moon filled the night with a shimmering radiance, making shadows move on there own and beckoning the more sinister creatures forth. A light flickered beside the glass doors as the male lighted up a ciggarrette. The small flame dispersed some of the shadows on his face to reveal strong cheekbones and glittering green orbs. Putting the cancer stick inbetween thin lips, he ran a hand through his long raven tresses as he walked over to the glass doors and opened them. The dim lights inside the entryway revealed a 6 foot male, built with lean muscles and a nice torso and a cocky grin that he gave towards the lady behind the desk. Walking towards the stairway, he raised a hand to his shoulder and pulled it back to reveal blood upon his fingers. A growl emmitted from his vocal cords at the smell of the crimson liquid. He was a werewolf, and just a few hours before had taken his nightly hunt through the parks and sometimes even in the abandon downtown areas. Tonight he had met a police man, who thought he was a rabid wolf and shot at the werewolf. It was his biggest and last mistake as Ares took him down with one slash to the throat. He walked towards the elevator and slipped inside as the metal doors parted, not caring that he almost ran over a guy who was coming out. Pushing a button for floor 5, he sucked on his cancer stick and blew the air out before once again slipping into a dark hallway and towards his own little apartment. Flipping out his keys, he unlocked the door and threw the keys on the kitchen counter. He kicked the door but it didn't shut all the way, but he didn't care. Slipping his shirt over his torso and head revealing a nice bloody mess on his skin where the bullet was lodged. "Shit" he told himself, as he walked over to his bathroom and looked in the mirror. "This is going to be fun." He grumbled to himself, his husky voice sarcastic as he rummaged around trying to find towels.
