She allowed the intrusion, she was half out of her mind with grief anyway. She hardly noticed him rumaging about in her kitchen. The scent of something long dead reached her, and she forced herself up and into the kitchen, curious as to what he was doing. When she spotted the meats on the counter, she smiled, acknowledging her rumbling stomach for hte first time since she'd awakened. Food? Don't tell me you're going to cook for me..... We haven't even gone on a first date.. the words were ment to be teasing, but the joke fell short... about a mile short. God, why did she have to be so fucking inexperienced? Dropping her gaze, she took the meat, and tossed the hotdogs in a pot of water set on the stove to cook. With the lunch meat she simply started eating slices, too out of it to bother with a sandwich. Her mind switched from her current position, to one of a few hours ago, when she'd sniffed out her daughter's doll. Why hadn't the scent been older? her daughter had been missing for close to three months... She would have thought the little girl would certianly be dead by now.... but then again, maybe not. I just don't understand... she's so close... she's still in cascade for christ's sake! why haven't i senced her? she wasn't really talking to Bradly, wasn't even aware she was talking aloud.

Clenching her teeth, she turned to him, and scrutinized him carefully. Certianly he'd want something for helping her through her change, and helping find her daughter.... but what was his price? why was he sticking around here, now, when she'd offered him nothing. Tabby no longer believed in the good in people.. her daughter's abduction had ruined an already crumbling belief. I also don't understand why a perfect stranger is taking care of me... She muttered, shaking her head in dissbeliefed amusement.
