Finally, finally, finally all was ready and the undead threw himself recklessly up the stairs like a child racing for the tree on Christmas morning. And a gift he was bearing, at least, news of a gift. At last, he no longer had to squirm with the difficulties of keeping a secret to himself! His nightly outings no longer had to incorporate meetings and preparations! GiGi, love, come out, come out! No, no, stay there! He was at his door quickly enough anyway! Bursting inside with a fire that recalled his exuberance of years ago and confirmed that the devilish youth was once more fully himself, he looked wildly around for his golden-haired companion, fidgeting with more excitement than he could ever hope to contain. "GiGi?"
