Subject: exam basics PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!

hi. really struggling!!!i have a history exam coming up soon and am unsure how i will be able 2 remember everything. when doing the individual topics im ok but when try 2 remember alot i get names dates and locations muddled up resulting in STUPID answers to over easy questions.
also alot of topics and the infomation crosses over and i get confused and write/talk about the wrong thing.
do you have any ideas on how i can remember everyhting i need without muddlin it all up?
