So Outlander02 you have chosen to dispute with the mighty Tri-Party Pact!!! We shall crush your arguments!!! We could have gone to war against Hitler, but could expect no help from our allies who, like us, wanted to avoid a repeat of the Great War. Put yourself in the shoes of Chamberlain, at the time we did not know the strength of the German forces, we had only 5 divisions of troops, a full total of 150,000 men! Not a great amount. It was not that much greater than the German armed forces at the time, true we still might have won, but we did not know that!!! You complain that Hitler broke the Treaty of Versailles but choose to ignore the fact that he was not the only person to do so. A fight with Hitler with his 100,0000 men against us, with our 150,000 may have crippled our country. Early glory may have been acomplished but at what cost!?
