- I'm sorry guys, I dont mean to dwell but i would like to assert myself in some way since it seems that a merely complimentary, fairly innocent comment has become totally blown out of proportion. im not trying to make myself sound like the one voice of reason but....

>Going back to the original point, if you like Abba
>then i totally change my opinion- you should be banned
>from being in a band

Does this justify ANYTHING????
If I did happen to like ABBA, (and I never said that i did), would that mean that i was ugly, flat chested and had no musical talent? If we are all going to get on our moral high horses about these issues, then that seems to me to be far more prejudiced than the breasts thing. I DONT think that looks have anything to do with talent and i would not walk around like courtney love even if i did happen to be in a band, or have a fantastic body, neither of which is the case as far as i can see

anyway there have been plenty of extremely talented female AND male musicians who aren't particularly gifted in the looks department, but does this MEAN anything? NO.

I feel far more insulted by the fact that someone could take back any compliments on my musicality at the slightest mention of something that is not to their taste. free world anyone?

and yasmin i was not promoting my 'lovely breasts' (QUOTE) in order to increase my chances of forming a band. i am not desperate and i do have self respect. as far as i am concerned it is for men to comment on breasts as, frankly, we girls have no way of influencing their size/loveliness, or what other people think about them. it is merely the human body, open to compliments and criticisms. preferably all in good taste though!

and sarah - no comment was made about you except that tim loves you, which is, as far as i can see, an intensely positive thing, so there is no reason why you should take offence to something he said unrelated to you.

ROAR

why do we all have to get so het up? im positively fluppering now. green tea anyone? it has suucchhh an amazin calming effect. did you know they eat guinea pigs in peru? and pirahnas?

whoop whoop well i hope you dont all hate me now for not taking offence to something that was not meant to cause any offence. ya well whatever. okay if im not allowed to promote happy cheerful ABBa songs how about...cralde of filth??? which would YOU choose?
