lol, its ok sarah, i did make that point but the way u sed it makes more sense and is more convincing!

I think becuase girls are so much more emotionally open, we are able to bond through touch such as hugging. females are far more touchy feely than males and we are able to communicate and bond in that way without embaressment. Men on the other hand feel there is a certain taboo about touching each other as intimately as women (in a purely non sexual way, or without sexual feeling anyway...sorry sarah , i kno i grope ur ass quite alot but theres really nufin in it ;) ). This is where i feel contact sport comes in. Rugby has been described as male bonding and rugby involves alot of touch, and though it is not gentle or loving affectionate touch, it is touch nonetheless. Men feel shame in showing they care about each other in the same way women do. Therefore, beating the hell outta each other on a sports field is the only way in which affection can b conveyed.

In this light, my point about homosexuality is not far off the mark. Though i was initially joking, i think we have all agreed that rugby brings men closer together and created unity etc in fraternal rather than a sexual sense.

hmmmmm, tho i still think that gay men would love to play rugby. ;)
