Quite right, but if you look back to the original thread I'm sure that Yasmin started out saying that Rugby was a way of getting rid of homosexual tendancies or summit - or was that me. I am officially confused - did i accidentally nick your argument yasmin and get all the credit? arrr forgive me beautiful.

Anyway, I think it's a convincing argument that rugby and other 'tough guy' sports are a way of male bonding. So why doesnt sport function in the same way for girls? In my personal experience school team sports have been hell. A lot of girls feel that way, although i am in no way suggesting the every girl hates sports as much as I do. So what is the female version of group bonding? Do girls need to bond in this way? And before Tim pipes in with 'its all that bloody bitching, you all hate in unison' i already thought of that! and yes, it's a valid point.
