Well, at least you realise that. I'm assuming that you realise that it's a problem as well and wish to deal with it.

I've had other friends with a drinking problem too and you might want to try:

1) Tell your friends that you want to cut down and ask them to help you in times of weakness (e.g. to not buy you a drink, or even offer)
2) Don't go out with extra money in your pocket. If you really need any more, then borrow it at the time.
3) If it doesn't help there are plenty of things that will mix really badly with alcohol (hopefully non-fatally) and stop you drinking. Ask your doctor.
