Subject: The wHole Point

What I really struggle to get ove is the lack of references to WWII. People let Hitler get more and more powerful whilst MR. Lloyd George just said he'll get over it, let him be (APPEASEMENT as history students love to say). History will forever judge him as niave. Winston Churchill on the other hand had been saying all along 'go get him, he'll never stop'. Winny is judged pretty well in History (though i am sure all those who are over the top in hating the US like to dwell on Winny's flaws as well. I think he is a very calculating, genuine, hard-working intellligent man).

However Mr. Bush jnr. (who, by the way, i neither trust or like) wants to stop Sadam before he gets anymore powerful. And i say nice one mate. I admire him for this. It really takes balls to stand up in front of the world and suggest going to war. He wants to do this to prevent graver future danger. I admire him much more since this. Interestingly i did not like him after Sep 11th 2001. I thought his responce was childish and was using the attack to his advantage. The 'Go-get-the-Arabs' approach seemed to me just picking up on the classsic, aggressive, patriotc US citizens. It was perhaps inevitable that he the approach of the saving hero, and well have been good for American but i think it went too far.

I also think those that reguard MR. Blair is just running around after Mr. Bush are overly cynical, and not profound enough in their political analysis. I think Mr. Blair is being far more calculating than you think.

anyway that will do for now.
