Back to the subject tim. There are several reason why i stand by the view that many immigrants are not poor people who had posessed nothing in their country of origin. The first reason is obvious. Do u have any idea how much it costs for people to have themselves smuggled across europe? It is usually tens of thousand of pounds. People dont hide in airtight containers without owners knowing. They pay to risk death and danger. its an illegal business. It also reflects the sheer desperation these people must be in. I cannot understand who would spend that much money on sumthing so uncertain if they did not have to.

Poor people do not have this sort of money. They are usually the ones who have to remain in thier country and disappear withut a trace.

Immigrants spend all their money trying to get to a haven. And it costs alot. U cant travel for free anywhere. Therefore these people must of had something before they came here.

If a person has that much money in thier country of origin, why would they emigrate unless they didnt have to? Wot would be the sense in it?
