Right, this is roughly what I was driving at.

This sounds so soapy. My Ghods, I'm a shoo-in for an Eppy this year! [Ob :) for any Episodic lurkers.]

Good question. I think he deepens it a bit for the villains, cops, citizens, etc, a la George Reeves, but when it's just him and DB or other heroes he's pally with, I don't think he bothers. But still, as you say Lola's pretty smart, and remember back in "Badgers" when Lola first met Jim she thought his voice was familiar...

I remember reading once that supposedly he vibrated himself so that in any photos his face just appeared as a blur. Plus I'm sure there's a dozen equally cockamamie explanations... In Sailor Moon, it was said that the Scouts had a sort of magical glamour that prevented people from recognising them; if they hadn't met previously, they couldn't even recognise each other out of costume. I'd thought of something like this for HG and DB, but their powers aren't magic-based, so it doesn't really make sense.
OTOH, it's something that Sandy McCovey might be able to teach Mark...

Nope. I think the only two villains that have met both HG and Evans are the Crustacean and Terrier Ironcore.
There will be a story relating to HG's secret identity in the near future - and by "near", I mean, maybe this year.

No, he would see it immediately.

Ah, well, I'm glad to see that there was enough there to encourage some wild speculation. We shall see how much of it is realised.

Well, hopefully it'll be better written.
