Top and bottom metal, all Damons. At this point (almost five months) I have really gotten used to them, don't care at all what anybody thinks and nobody cares anyway, which is pretty cool. Rather liberating, really, to finally not care what other people think! I think of it is a positive adversity -- no life is completely without adversity so it is a good thing to deal with it in a positive way!

I am hoping that it is true that the Damons work faster, my gaps will all be closed by November, which is seven months into treatment, then ortho is going to work on altering my bite -- since I opted for no surgery -- he says will take a year.

I will say that the powerchains help the brackets be more comfortable, they seem softer somehow.

I'm glad you waited until after your vacation!
