Your teeth are moving.

Sores will come back as your teeth are moving. I've been lucky to not have any sores, except for one small one from my elastic that only irritates me when the elastic catches it.

But I do get sporadic pain every once in awhile. It's perfectly normal, I think.

It makes perfect sense that when your teeth are moving to their new homes, or en route to their new homes, that sores will come up because that area of your cheek lacks scar tissue that other areas of your mouth may have.

Pain will come and go, as pressure is shifted from some teeth to some others.

I think one of the oddest sensation I ever felt was last month. For a couple days, I'd feel pressure on my upper left lateral incisor, which is rotated. The pressure would come and then it would quickly go. Although it wasn't painful, it was very strange. I kind of liked it to be honest. Perhaps I'm sadistic. ;)

And call your ortho for more wax or go buy somenoe! A lot of stores that carry general oral healthcare products will have wax. No reason to suffer.
