What a fantastic site! I have spent the last hour or so reading your posts and have found quite a bit of useful information... Thanks! I am getting braces on September 1st, for the 2nd time LOL! But this time instead of getting the traditional metal braces my ortho has suggested Speed braces. Does anyone know what the difference is between Damon and Speed? Is one type less noticeable than the other? I would have chosen ceramic but my orthodontist suggested speed braces because he felt it would shorten my treatment time.
