hey...yeh i've had a crazy ordeal thus far in my braces extravaganza...i went about 2 months ago to get my bottom braces on and my expander put in...it was really hard to talk and eat at first but like the other people said it gets much much better in a very short time...but my bone had fused itself together and the expander was causing the worst pain i've ever had after about 2 weeks...they turned it back to releave some of the pain and told me not to turn it anymore...i just got my top wire on and they are going to take out the expander in 2 months and put in a very small device to just puch out my teeth a little bit..i had a monor cross bite so they said it wont require surjury..and on top of all this i have to get my wisdom teeth out very soon and i have some complications with that...even though its hard i know it'll all be worth it in the end...so i hope everything works out for u!
