Yes, gets much easier. I'm 46, by the way, people get them at all ages! I also have lots of additional work -- buildups cost $1700, braces $5,000, in addition will need two implants at $2400 each and two bridges at $1,800, then twelve crowns at $600 each. I could have a new car for all the money we're going to dump into my teeth!
Been in them three months, they pretty much become a part of you, the worst thing really is sometimes it's hard to talk, they get in the way and bug me, and it's a pain to clean food out of them all the time, everything gets stuck. I even get hairs stuck in them!
But it is such a positive thing to do, now I notice other people's teeth, that could use help, like short teeth from grinding, crooked teeth, and even missing teeth in the front -- heavens! Consider yourself lucky you can afford to take care of your teeth, others can't!
