Today I got my first canker sore on my lip....right where an upper bracket rubs. I used the Colgate Orabase sample my ortho gave me on it, and I think it feels worse numb than it did with nothing on it. Are there any coating type products I can use that don't numb the area? Also, I am trying to figure out why I got it.. Could it be because I switched to the Citrus flavor of Listerine? Thanks in advance for any advice.. :)
