how is this so Garizona,when if you don't visit for a day or so some of the post's you have read ,go back to unread, unless u check the date posted,you can sometimes re-read posts, it would be nice to say go away for a few days or whatever, and come back and 'only' get the posts from the time you were away,and mark, read posts as read and have then kept read, yess simples good, but yeah ,it would be good to have permanent 'topic' threads say for ceramic v's metal or hawley retainers v's bonded ect, we will always have a steady flow of newbies , and as Dea said most newbs ask the same questions and the long time posters give the same answers, or these massive long threads of where peeps are from(yes ive added to the last Were you from post),some of the more 'featured' forums let you say where your from everytime you post, most forums have guest login or able to browse as a guest but must join to post,or take part in polls.. i dont have a problem registering for forums, as it can stop others using your name, in a bad way, and if you worried bout,your info being out there, use a web based email adress and put info in there thats 'not' exactly where you live, i live on melbourne rd .melbourne blah blah blah , I DONT but i tell the net that i do...and always will, use your head ,
anyway thats me 5c worth on it, whatever happens im sure lynn has her reasons for looking to go to a diff forum,
