Speech gets better with time, the first two weeks are definitely the hardest. Practice talking to yourself (just don't answer yourself) singing along to songs, read books aloud etc. It does become easier with practice.

The S's and G's where VERY hard for me. I remember one day I was telling my friend about a really nice hotel in my city called "The Georgian Terrace" It came out sounding like "The Jorjian Tewace" LOL.

Stick with it, I was told that I would have to wear mine for 8 months and my ortho took it out after 4 months ;-)
