Congratulations! I hear ya about the speech. I have had my expander in for 2 weeks and it seems way longer. I am relearning speech and sound at times like I have a mouth full of marbles. I am slated for 3 months with my Quad helix appliance and hope it is off earlier rather than later. I have a lot of trouble with the "s" sound if it falls in the last part of a word.

Any suggestions for improving speech wearing an expander...or does it improve on its own with time?
