You can wear the retainer as much as you want, there is no such thing as wearing it too much for your health. Probably I am quite a bit older than you are, but I think I will be wearing my invisible retainers 24/7 for 3-4 months before we start to reduce the time (but I am not certain about that). I do know my ortho has check-ups for a year after the retainers are put on, so I am assuming it takes a year to get totally to night-only wear.
