I'm so happy I chose ceramics too. I give presentations for my work and it's nice to feel that my braces aren't obvious. I've had people say 'oh! you have braces!' months into my treatment. I did pay a bit more, but my ortho said ceramics wouldn't affect my length of treatment. Even if it did..I'd consider ceramics because it just looks like a retainer. I'm not is the big hurry to get them off I would be if I had metal.
