This happens all the time.

You were probably doing it b4 braces and didnt know it.

SOme of the things that can occur from clenching:

Headaches (even Migraines)
sore neck, pain behind eyes (often misdiagnosed as sinusitis)
And more.

I like the NTI to combat clenching and bruxing. I wear one myself, so does my wife.
I made one for my assistant a years or 2 ago and she hasnt had a migrane since.
