I know. Personally, whenever anyone makes a comment that they wear their hg in public, I start to think of them as a fraud because if all these people who claimed to werar them in public on the web actually did wear them in public, then how come I've never seen one in public my whole life? My ortho who has to be one of the most demanding ones, doesn't expect me to wear my HG in public. Anyone who says they've had braces for 4 years or more is also a fraud in my book, you only end up with braces that long if you have a stupid ortho, you break brackets, you miss appointments, or your a kid without all your permanant teeth. If you want to get a second opinion, I would definitly get one, I kind of wish I would of shopped around more too, but being only 19 I could really only afford one consultation and all. My dental insurance only pays for cleaning 2x a year, no fillings, braces, retainers, or cosmetic dentistry.
