The more I read here the less faith I have in my ortho. Obviously the "24/7" guy who said he had to wear headgear for three years is a fraud. But obviously some adults have to wear the silly (looking) things. I will be one of them soon. Yet I get the feeling that I did not explore/demand more options. AS to public wear even my ortho doesn't expect that. This whole thing gets curiouser and curiouser. I just focus on the end result, only 2 1/2 years away, but I might have done a lot different if I had to do it all over again (I have been working on this over a year so far, just to get to the braces stage, I hope it is all worth it.)
