I do too, but I can't really switch orthos because orthos refuse to touch another one's work. I tried to find one near my college, because I'm over 4 hours away from home at college, but no luck..I'd have to repay $5,000 and start all over, so I guess I'm kind of stuck unless I can get another loan. I've always had bad experiences with dentists, the ortho I had when I was a kid always yelled at me too. My current ortho is really nasty to kids, he's a lot meaner to them than the adults..I've actually seen him make kids cry. It's kind of sad because 1) he does a good job fixing teeth and is very thorough 2) some of the kids he sees are less than 7 years old(or so they look), and they must be frightened because going to a dentist is scary enough at that age, let alone being yelled at.

This is getting kind of off topic, but when I moved and had to switch dentists, the first dentist I went to asked me sarcastically "when was the last time you saw a dentist?". I know this seems like I'm ranting, but I hate it when I get yelled at for having bad teeth..I'm sensitive enough as it is about how they look and do everything right as far as diet and brushing/flossing 5x a day as long as I can remember. I currently at least have found a nice general dentist that doesn't critisize me for having more cavities than teeth or enamel hyperplasia, or weak teeth. Instead, he actually helped me by telling me to start using ACT Flouride and Plax in addition to brushing/flossing 5x a day.
