Subject: Midline, Dr. Rick?

At my last adjustment I was given "frontal midline elastics" (my own term, not theirs). It's from my upper right central incisor to my lower left canine.

Now, a week after my adjustment, my midline is ALMOST perfect. I haven't been wearing the elastics as much as I should, because I won't wear them in public (it's rather difficult to talk and irritates my tongue).

Do you think it would be okay if I wore my elastic ONLY at night to retain this position, or should I just continue? I want to get rid of these as soon as possible and I'm a little nervous about an overcorrection and having my midline being off the other way.
