I had my first adjustment a week ago after 7 weeks in braces. I was freaking out a little too...especially when I got home and realized I couldn't even chew soft bread!! But now after a week, it is getting a little better.

I haven't been one of the lucky ones who have a day or two of slight discomfort, more like a whole week. But I feel that things are getting better, slowly, and I am sure they will for you too. Best of luck to you, and hang in there!! I feel your pain:-)
