Here are some of the main culprets of ligiature stains.
Although, for myself personnally, it hasn't been a really big problem. I have a colour called "Obscure" which is like an off white/clear. And they are excellent. Mustard didn't even stain them.

Curry
Mustard
Red Wine
Black Coffee & Tea
Dark Sodas (Cola, Rootbeer)
Spagetti sauce
Heavily food coloured foods (cotton candy ice cream)
