I am in my mid fifties and have to have a bridge re-done after many years of solid service. My prosthodontist is suggesting that I upright my premolar and second molar (the abutment teeth) that had tilted many years ago and before the bridge was placed. I have a fully erupted third molar there as well.

How difficult a process is this and would I have to have brackets on all bottom teeth or just the ones in that quadrant. The rest of my teeth are straight, gums are healthy and bite is good. Obviously the abutment teeth would have to have temporary crowns I guess during the process. The dentist said that it is not absolutely mandatory but something I should consider
