I got my braces at the end of January ... and it's been about 7 months. My teeth are all straight ... for the most part anyway. The only thing still wrong is that my teeth aren't aligned (the middle lines don't line up).

1) How long (a broad approximation ... I know it's different for everyone) does it take for the "middle lines" to straighten up?

2) After everything is straight (another broad approximation), how long does it take for teeth to "settle in"? For you anyway, since it's different for everyone.

Also, I just missed my appointment a few days ago (it's summer, I'm busy with friends, band, sports, etc.) ... will that affect treatment time or treatment? I don't get another appointment for another month, so hopefully it doesn't add more than a month to my treatment time.

Thanks a lot!
