Jim, you're already breaking out of being self-consciuos by getting orthodontic treatment. In my opinion, it takes nerves of steel to go through this, although I am starting to feel more confident because of them. You may as well go ahead and go for your dream job. Ask at your ortho's office about doing that kind of work. Maybe they would have some ideas that could help, shoot, maybe they would even have an opening for you.................It sounds like it would be a fulfilling vocation for you. You know, other men may feel more at ease doing this if there was a male assistant in the office......... Go for it!!!!!!
