Hi there,

I'm due to get my brace fitted tomorrow (ceramic upper) and am not quite sure what I'm letting myself in for!!! I guess that's normal..?!

The ortho told me I would need four teeth extracted or surgery to correct the overcrowding. I've opted for the extractions as the thought of breaking my jaw and realigning it sounded gruesome. Will the extractions change my face shape anyway?! Has anyone had to make a similar decision?

Grateful for any thoughts..!

Fingers crossed for tomorrow....

Mark

p.s. Great website and forum!
