I can't say you have a "bad" ortho, but if you are that happy with your results, you MUST tell your ortho. You tell him what you want fixed, and that you are very unhappy thus far in your treatment.

I don't know how you can convince your parents that you aren't happy with the results. My parents still insist on saying that I didn't need braces, even though it was kind of planned since I was 11 or 12 and my bite was off. They still don't think I needed them. :>

I'm sure it's possible to get a new ortho, but it would be expensive and many orthos refuse to touch another ortho's work.
