Oh do I know how you feel!!! Your starving right? On my third day of just bottom braces I just wanted to cry cuz I was starving! Well 1 1/2 months and 12 pounds less later I can eat again. Every once in a while my molars or fronts get tender but I tough it out and chew gently. Now I can pretty much eat anything. It does get easier I promise. I have a bite plate also which was hard to get used to while eating but now I feel naked without it. I noticed that I barely snack anymore either. I only eat during regular meals because I don't want to have to brush, floss, etc... any more than I have to. One day I swear I brushed my teeth 5 or 6 times. LOL That was enough for me. I'm sure once my tops go on in a couple months everything will change yet again!

Hopefully it will get better for you.

P.S. A big bowl of ice cream always made me feel better when I couldn't chew very well.
