Hey, you guys. Give this woman a break.

I'm a reporter, too, as well as a braces-wearer, and I can tell you that she probably has been given a specific assignment on the difficulties people have with braces. That doesn't make her biased; it just means she's trying to answer specific questions.

Also, many reporters are free-lancers and don't have email addresses at the magazine for which they are writing a specific story. She may work out of her home.

So try to help her out. The more real information braces-wearers can get out in the media, the better for all of us.
